Holger, born in 1977 in Saalfeld/Saale, studied media informatics at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Berlin, as well as studies at the Filmakademie Baden Württemberg in Animation&Visual Effects. After that he worked until mid-2016 at AnimalLogic in Sydney, Framestore in London and others. In 2014 he was part of the Academy Award winning team for “Best Visual Effects” for the movie “Gravity”.

After Stuttgart, Sydney, Copenhagen and London, he now lives in Berlin. Together with his wife he runs the cooking blog “derultimativekochblog”. In 2016 he co-authored the cookbook “Mampf-ein Jahr, ein paar, ein Topf” published by Hoffmann & Campe Verlag. He loves traveling, cooking, gardening, cinema, art, museums and a good after-work wine.
