Your tasks

Oversee the quality of work and direction of shots for a team of roto/prep artists.
Planning of shot work and assignments
Check work progress
Tackling the roto/prep of shots effectively
Briefing junior artists
Delivering final shots that are creatively and technically excellent
Responsible for Outsource process both briefing and feedback
Close Collaboration with Outsource manager and Compositing Supervisors

Considerable experience with Nuke, Mocha and Silhouette
Previous experience working as a Lead within VFX facility
Strong roto and paint show reel
Good understanding of photography and film.
Understanding of the whole digital film pipeline.
Ability to give direction and structure working practice so that changes can be efficiently made
Desire to share experience with others
Roto organic and not organic shapes and match motion blur/defocus from the plate.
Fully efficient with Nuke 3D space and projections setups
Candidates must be UK or Europe based
