Render TD/ Lighting (Development/Pipeline Department)

Your tasks

  • Work with production to ensure a high level of efficiency and quality of renders.
  • Troubleshoot render scenes, identify bottlenecks and pro-actively find areas of improvements.
  • Work closely with artistic and technology departments on the implementation and documentation of best practices.
  • Suggest new ideas and solutions to rendering challenges.


  • Degree in Computer Science, Animation, Games or related field.
  • Solid understanding of computer graphics.
  • Production experience with modern rendering engines, preferably Arnold.
  • Production experience with Katana, Maya, Nuke and Houdini.
  • Production experience with managing render farms (preferably Tractor).
  • Experience writing shaders is highly beneficial.
  • Programming experience with C/C++ and Python.
  • Web development experience with PHP, Python, HTML and Javascript is a bonus.
  • Experience with leading a team and prioritising work.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle a fast paced, occasionally high pressure environment.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
