TRIXTER is currently looking for a Studio Manager to join our expanding business and help Managing Director with the day to day operations. Selected candidate will act as the highest point of contact for resolution of difficult issues across all departments. He / She should have a great understanding of how to achieve both: happy creative environment and successful project development, able to understand complex project requirements and recognize potential risks and dependencies relevant to resourcing work.

Type of contract: To start as soon as possible. Full-time, long-term position.

Location: Munich or Berlin

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day to day Studio operations.
  • Develop Studio strategic plans for the future.
  • Compiling Road map for projects.
  • Work with Senior Management to ensure facility is equipped with proper resources.
  • Act as an advisor on recourse and technical matters.
  • Perform employee reviews and career growth, as well as recommendations for promotions.
  • Represent company representative of TRIXTER’s culture.
  • Stay up to speed with current technological trends, tools, and techniques
  • Weekly reporting to Management.

Requirements:

  • Business Degree is preferred or equivalent of professional experience in Management role.
  • Solid understanding of project lifecycle and deadline.
  • Great motivator with leadership skills.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow up on a process.
  • Great communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Prior experience in the VFX production, entertainment, media or gaming industries is a plus, but not mandatory.
  • Good English language skills.
  • EU citizenship or with an existing German work permit.

TRIXTER is currently looking for a Junior Pipeline TD to complete our Pipeline team. Long-term contract. Location: Berlin/Munich, Germany.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond to incoming support issues and clearly document solutions
  • Maintain and support custom tools across the whole Visual Effects process
  • Troubleshoot and analyze software/process failures
  • Design and implement solutions for on-going production needs

Requirements:
  • EU Citizenship or valid German work visaProficiency in Python
  • Understanding of Linux operating system
  • Experience with version control systems like Git, Subversion, Mercurial.
  • Exposure to VFX software like Maya, Houdini, Nuke or Katana is a must.

TRIXTER Film is currently looking to hire experienced Lead Houdini FX TD. The ideal candidate will show strong attention to detail backed up with excellent technical understanding and ability to achieve optimum results.
Location: Munich

Type of contract: Full-time, Long-term. Responsibilities:

  • Execute FX technique tasks using Houdini software.

  • Deliver all elements in a structured way that allows efficient integration into the pipeline.

  • Produce the final looks of FX sequences, including integration with other CG elements.

  • Work with production management to prioritize tasks.

  • Take responsibility, lead and support junior Artists.

  • Creatively solve problems and achieve art direction for a shot.

  • Troubleshoot and solve problems independently. •

    Requirements:

  • Minimum 4+ years’ experiencein developing Special Effects in future film industry.

  • Expert knowledge of Houdini Software.

  • Proficient knowledge of FX techniques, workflow and software (FumeFX, RealFlow, Maya

    Particles, Studio Max) and/or 3D software package.

Primary responsibilities:

  • Responsible for setting up, maintaining and wrapping up a project in close collaboration with the VFX Producer and VFX Supervisor

  • Organising and attending daily reviews

  • Assessing the progression of established project plans

  • Keeping the production database up to date

  • Serving as organisational contact for clients and preparing client approval session

  • Running submissions and deliveries

    Requirements:

  • Proven experience of coordinating CG feature film projects in an established VFX facility

  • Knowledge of CG production pipelines and post production in general is crucial

  • Outstanding organisational skills

  • Ability to establish priorities and multi-task efficiently within a high-pressure environment

  • Able to communicate effectively across multiple teams
