VFX Producer
We are currently looking for an experienced Visual Effects Producer to join our team as soon as possible. The Producer role carries significant responsibilities both internal and external to the facility. From the bidding process through to driving a production schedule and managing a budget, being effective in this role is crucial to a well organised project.
Primary responsibilities: • Providing cost estimations and bids • Developing project schedules and planning their implementation • Monitoring the project progress to ensure that budget, schedule and quality targets are being met • Revising project contracts and managing show finances • Leading regular meetings concerning the status of a current show or the development of new projects • Serving as a project's main contact for clients as well as the production's Supervisors and Head of Departments
Requirements: • Several years of work experience as a Producer in an established Animation and/or VFX oriented film production company • In-depth knowledge of a CGI production workflow and of general film post production • Excellent communication, interpersonal and team leadership skills • Business acumen and an ability to balance financial responsibilities and negotiations • Being a very well organised, reliable and diligent person • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel and fluent in spoken and written English • Ability to motivate team members and to solve problems efficiently and patiently
Production Coordinator
We are currently looking for a Production Coordinator to join our team for our next CG feature film project which starts end of 2010. Primary responsibilities: •
Responsible for working with Producers, Supervisors and Heads of Department in maintaining and controlling delivery schedules •
Planning reviews and assessing the progression of established project plans •
Maintaining production database
Requirements: •
Proven experience of coordinating CG feature film projects in an established VFX facility • Knowledge of CG production pipelines and post production in general is crucial •
Outstanding organisational skills •
Ability to establish priorities and multi-task efficiently within a high-pressure environment •
Able to communicate effectively across multiple teams with excellent written and oral communication skills

Production Intern
We are currently offering an Internship in the Production department of our Animation and VFX studio in Munich.
Primary tasks: • Working closely with Producers and Coordinators in support of their daily routine • Attending reviews and tracing the progression of ongoing projects • Handling data exchanges (ftp / hard disk) and the production database
Requirements: • Very good organisational and English language skills • Advanced computer skills and experience with handling media files • Knowledge of CG production pipelines and post production in general is an advantage
Senior / Junior Modeling Artist
We are currently looking for Senior and Junior Modeling Artist to join us for our next CG feature film project which starts end of 2010.
Senior Modeling Artist Primary responsibilities: • Creatively transfer 2D designs and maquettes into complex 3D geometry with strong focus on characters and props in Maya (organic and hard surface modeling). • Build complex facial details and blend shapes. • Create UV’s according to pipeline specifications. • Meet deadlines as established by Production.
Requirements: • At least 4+ years work experience in VFX / Animation feature film production • Expert knowledge of modeling in Maya. • Skilled knowledge of anatomy for both humans and animals • Excellent communication skills • Skills in traditional sculpting and the ability to work with packages such as Mudbox or Z-brush are an advantage • Experience with mel, python, perl or other scripting languages is a plus

Senior FX Artist
Primary responsibilities: • Create convincing, realistic FX solutions and simulations (particles, cloth, fur) • Deliver all elements in a structured way that allows efficient integration into the pipeline • Work with other departments (rendering compositing and animation) to find feasible concepts for the challenges at hand Requirements: • Minimum of 2 years feature film experience. • Detailed knowledge of Maya, Renderman and Realflow. • Good communication skills and team orientation required to make and incorporate suggestions to and from other members of the VFX team.
Shader Writers - All levels
TRIXTER is currently looking for all levels talented Renderman shader writers. Requirements: • Strong technical skills in software design and implementation. • Solid understanding of math and physics theories. • Strong artistic skills. • Proven ability in creation of stylized shaders (such as toonshaders) • 2+ years production experience in the creation and application of Renderman shaders for motion picture visual effects.
